BeoPlayer is an original media player that stands out for its particular design combining elegance and sophistication, without overlooking aspects such as sound quality and ease of use. It has an innovative interface, consisting of two sliding panels, which hide on the sides of the screen while you are working on other tasks.
With BeoPlayer it is possible to play music files in MP3, ACC, and WAV formats with excellent audio quality, and also listen to online radio stations. Additionally, it is a picture viewer and cataloger, with support for 6 image formats and several options to organize and view your images.
Basically, the main window looks like a remote control that stands on the right side of the screen, with buttons resembling the ones we use to change channels and control the volume. On the other side of the screen there is the music/picture organizer, and from that panel you can access all your media contents.
The first time you run the program it will perform a scan on your PC and external drives in search of multimedia files (music and photos). After performing the scan, it will automatically organize files into folders, in the case of music, according to artists, genre, albums, etc, retrieving missing information like album covers, for example, from the web.
The sliding panels are somehow tricky to handle at first, but once you get the hang of it, you are going to realize that the design is very convenient.
